  • Am I eligible to apply for Elise's House’s group home?

    • Prospective tenants should be able to interact positively with others in the home
    • No restrictions from a physician opposing independent living
    • Absence of addictions to prohibited contraband
    • NO active cases with law enforcement
    • NO criminal sexual misconduct involvement

The application process includes the following

    • In person interview or electronic interview is required
    • A completed application must be on file prior to an interview

    • Prospective tenants of the home must have updated shot record
    • A current physical inclusive of psychological exam is preferred

  • How can I help support your group home?

The best way to help our cause is by donating! We are a non-profit organization, so all proceeds go directly to supporting the residents in our group home and aiding them in securing the help they need to get back on their feet. We provide them with resources, services, and financial support in order to help them take advantage of their second chance. Financial support is the best way to sustain the continuation of these group home services and programs.

  • How can I help if I don’t have the time or funds to donate?

We understand that money can be tight and you may not be in a position where you are able to donate. If this is the case for you, but you feel inspired to take action then there are other ways to help without devoting your money. This can be accomplished by telling your family and friends about us and our mission, and by sharing our site on social media.

If you believe you are qualified and would like to take more direct action in helping others embrace their second chance then we encourage you to apply for a position at Elise's House. We look forward to receiving your application and potentially working with you in our group home

There are always small ways you can help out your community and make the world a better place and we appreciate your interest in our group home facility

  • Why should I donate?

There are multiple benefits to donating to nonprofit organizations such as Elise's House. It can provide a sense of fulfillment as you are doing good for the world. More than that, there can be financial and tangible benefits to donating to organizations such as our group home. By aiding us in our mission to help the homeless, you are directly improving your community and country. Donating is an investment in the world you live in. By helping some, you help all. In addition to benefiting the community as a whole, donating in large quantities can qualify you or your company for a tax deduction and can boost the public image of you or your organization.
